About John

John Shin John has eighteen years of experience in the drug discovery industry in the areas of cell therapy, biologics and protein sciences. He is responsible for advancing T cell programs and establishing the research pipeline. on of scalable solutions.

Prior to ElevateBio, John worked in the Immuno-oncology group at Unum Therapeutics, where he played an integral role in advancing two cell therapy candidates into the clinic (HER2 and CD20). During his time at Unum, he also developed various methods to characterize gamma retrovirus vectors within the process development group. John has held positions in the drug discovery groups at Merck, Biogen and Organon.

Education & Accomplishments
John received his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Penn State.
