About Bhakti
Bhakti has more than 20 years of experience in biotech, consulting, and financial services including corporate finance, business development, strategy, and business process re-engineering. Bhakti joined ElevateBio as one of earliest employees and has been leading the finance team since 2018.
Prior to ElevateBio, Bhakti was Head of Global Commercial Finance at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, working closely with therapeutic areas to support the development, implementation, and execution of global franchise strategy and brand planning. Bhakti previously worked for J.P. Morgan in strategy, business management and treasury as part of the Corporate Finance team in Investment Banking and Asset Management.
Education and Accomplishments
Bhakti holds an MBA from Cornell University where she was an Albert Fried, Jr. Fellow and a B.S. in Computer & Electrical Engineering from Purdue University. Most recently, Bhakti participated in Goodwin Proctor’s GOOD Directors leadership program, first-of-its-kind national program designed to create for next-generation, BIPOC, LGBTQ+ and women leaders to join Boards of Directors of public companies.
