The Role:
ElevateBio is looking for a motivated and curious People & Culture Co-Op to join our team for a six-month rotational program. Reporting to SVP, Head of People & Culture, this role will provide hands-on experience across the key areas of our People & Culture (P&C) function, including Total Rewards, HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, People Experience, and HR Operations. This is a unique opportunity for a student to gain broad exposure to the HR field, work on impactful projects, and develop foundational skills for a future career in People & Culture.
Here’s What You’ll Do:
- Rotate through different teams within P&C, gaining hands-on experience in various HR functions:
- Total Rewards – Support compensation and benefits initiatives, assist with benchmarking, and analyze data related to employee programs.
- HR Business Partners (HRBPs) – Work alongside HRBPs to support employee relations, talent development, and engagement initiatives.
- Talent Acquisition – Assist with recruitment processes, including candidate sourcing, interview coordination, and employer branding efforts.
- People Experience – Contribute to employee experience programs, including onboarding, engagement initiatives, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) projects.
- HR Operations – Support HR data management, systems, compliance, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various HR projects and initiatives.
- Assist in analyzing HR data and generating reports to support decision-making.
- Gain exposure to HR technology and tools used in modern workforce management.
- Engage in learning opportunities, networking events, and mentorship sessions to deepen HR knowledge and professional growth.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field.
- Strong interest in HR and organizational development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with technology and or HR systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- A proactive mindset with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
