About Jacob
Jacob Abrams joined ElevateBio in 2020, and as general counsel, he leads the Company’s legal function.
Prior to ElevateBio, Jake was the head of global compliance at argenx, a biopharmaceutical company based in Belgium, and he had previously held various global legal roles at Alexion Pharmaceuticals.
Education and Accomplishments
Jake holds a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School. He received his M.A. from the U.S. Naval War College and his B.S. from the U.S. Naval Academy. He was a flight officer in the U.S. Navy for over 8 years before transitioning into corporate law.
